Comprehensive Cleaning Checklists

DISCLOSURE:  We can create custom checklists for our clients.  Every home is different, and everyone's needs are different. Our services can be tailored to your individual needs.

Living Room, Sitting Areas, Offices 

• Dust fans, fixtures, high ledges, vents 

• Dust any shutters and windowsills 

• Move and dust all decor and surfaces (unless overly cluttered) Check sliding glass doors and tracks 

• (vacuum and wipe as needed) 

• Move couch/seat cushions and dust under them when possible 

• Fold throw blankets and organize when possible. Dust paintings and artwork Check ceilings, crown 

• Molding, and baseboards for dust/cobwebs 

• Wipe down TV and computer screens when needed 

• Wipe down light switches and electrical sockets as needed 

• Wipe down glass tables/mirrors/surfaces Empty and replace all trash and trash bags 

• Vacuum floor /rugs

• Mop floors 

• Clean behind and under move-able objects, check for dirt under cabinets Spot scrub floor when necessary 

Bedrooms

• Spot treat floors as needed 

• Wipe down outlets and electrical sockets as needed 

• Vacuum & mop behind and under move-able objects, check for dirt under cabinets 

• Mop floors

• Place items on floor after floor dries 

Bathrooms 

• Dust vents, fixtures, decor, paintings, wall decor, and hard to reach ledges 

• Wipe down counters, polish hardware, sanitize and wipe down sinks 

• Check bathroom cabinets for stains and wipe those down 

• Check crown molding and base boards and dust them, clean glass mirrors Wipe down and scrub all surfaces of toilet 

• Wipe down any trash cans 

• Wipe down tile accents and tile walls of shower/tub 

• Clean and sanitize tub/shower 

• Wipe down personal care items (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) in shower 

• Organize when possible (labels facing out) 

• Wipe down cleaning items that are dusty (plunger, toilet paper holder, etc.) 

• Move all items that are movable off of the floor 

• Vacuum any rug Vacuum and mop Spot treat floors as needed 

• Mop floors

• Replace items on the floor when floor dries 

Kitchen 

• Dust all high ledges, vents, and wine racks 

• Wipe down back splash Remove items off counters, wipe counters, faucets, and chrome 

• Clean outside of small appliances, wipe down in/out of microwave (including glass tray inside microwave) 

• Take apart stove and wipe, remove knobs and wipe them down, Organize when necessary 

• Check the cabinets for smudges and dirt and remove them 

• Clean exterior of all large appliances 

• Check crown molding, base boards, ceilings and vents for cobwebs or dust Sanitize inside of sink and wipe down 

• Wipe down outlets and electrical sockets as needed

Break Rooms, Office Spaces, Common Areas and Eating Areas

• Discard food wrappers, unwanted food, perishables that are expired, and more.

• Empty trash.

• Clean the coffee pot and discard used coffee pods.

• Disinfect surfaces food prep areas like tabletops or counters.

• Clean appliances inside and out.

• Clean glass surfaces.

• Wipe down doors and walls as needed.

• Wipe down light switches and other common touch points.

• Wipe down common computer and other electronics.

• Dust all available surfaces.

• Organize common areas when possible. 

• Remove items from shelving and wipe shelving down

Bathrooms 

• Clean and disinfect the toilets.

• Clean and disinfect the sinks.

• Sweep the floor of debris, mop floor.

• Clean off hard surfaces, discard paper towels and other trash,    disinfect all hard surfaces.

• Replace empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls.

• Refill soap dispensers.

• Replace any other sanitary products

• Reline sanitary napkin trash bins

• Clean the mirror with glass cleaner.
